Biblically Responsible Investing

What is Biblically Responsible Investing?

Investing that seeks to please and glorify God as a Vital act of worship. This definition is inspired by many verses including 1 Corinthians 10:31, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

As a Christian, it is very important that we align our investments with our faith.  It would be poor stewardship to invest those assets God has entrusted us with into stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that profit from those activities that are contrary to our faith. We use screening software that filters for companies that are engaged in, supporting, or profiting from the following activities:

Life Destroying Scientific Research

Abuses of elderly, children and the poor

Alternative lifestyles

Anti-Family entertainment

Religious persecution and political oppression

Hostile marketing techniques

There are over 8,000 publically trades stocks and over 12,000 mutual funds in the United States. Of those, we have identified approximately 800 company stocks that violate one or more of the aforementioned activities. As mutual funds may hold a myriad of these stocks, those positions would cause the mutual fund to fail our screening as well.

We support companies and mutual funds who:

Do not engage in the Anti-Christian activities mentioned above.

Are active in charitable giving.

Support the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

Promote marriage and family values.
